Savannah native, Emily Earl documents the spaces and faces that make up her quirky, sultry city. Capturing moments of darting eye contact and unabashed body language, she tells stories on film.

Earl received a BFA in Photography in 2007 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She co-founded Sulfur Studios in 2014, and was the Director of Public Relations & Special Events from 2014 - 2020 before taking on the role of Executive Director. She is also the owner/operator of Prismatic Prints, a fine art printshop, where she assists clients from creative concept to finished artwork.

In 2017, she won the Portfolio 2017 High Museum Purchase Award at the APG Gallery in Atlanta. In 2020, work from her Late Night Polaroids series was displayed at the High Museum in In Between: Adolescence Through the Camera alongside five other photographers including Bruce Davidson and Mary Ellen Mark. Earl has work in many private collections in the US and Europe and has been featured by the New Yorker Magazine and Polaroid, among others.

Her solo exhibition, Late Night Polaroids, Photographs by Emily Earl was on display from August 14th, 2020 - April 4th, 2021, at Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center in Savannah, GA as part of the Jepson Center’s #art912 program. Her first monograph, Late Night Polaroids is available for purchase HERE
